course outline AND PURPOSE:

This programme is for TAs who want to be consistently effective in promoting positive learning outcomes for all pupils they support. The Olevi Outstanding TA Programme will give access to a deeper understanding of how pupils learn and the necessary skills to secure consistently positive impact on pupil learning. The consistent application of the principles and skills acquired from the OTAP Programme should enable TAs to be judged by their schools as highly effective.

The programme is set over 5 mornings/afternoons and it is essential that you can attend all sessions. It is recommended that a minimum of 2 delegates come from each school.

Do you want to know what Lesson Study is? Would you like to try an innovative approach to CPD in your school? This twilight session is an introduction to Lesson Study (based on the UCL Institute of Education model), explaining the key features of the approach and showcasing examples of Lesson Study that have been successful in Enfield schools. The session will also provide information about further support available to schools who wish to undertake Lesson Study.

Course outline and purpose: 

To ensure all school based Designated Child Protection Leads are update in matters relevant to their role.

To issue Certificate of Attendance for those who participate in the whole day. This is an intensive course and latecomers who the course leader judges have already missed significant course input will not be issued with a certificate. In these circumstances the attendee will need to be repeat the whole session before the necessary certificate can be issued.
