Never before has the need for on line safety been more important. The Covid-19 crisis has highlighted the need for distance learning and meetings and this course is aimed at addressing some of the issues involved.
The online world brings many possibilities and educational benefits to young people. But it’s also full of risks – and it’s constantly changing.
Angela Poplar will address vital issues about online safety and provide advice about the use of website development, on line resources and video conferencing.
The CLC team have developed a Virtual Learning Platform to ensure teachers are able to access school networks and resources, this has enabled our schools to work from home safely and utilised and updated staff personal PC’s and Laptops to enable stress free accessibility, with the Implementation of MS Teams and Office 365, Google classroom, G-Suite and other connectivity solutions to ensure no down time providing ongoing support to our key workers.
The Team is employed by the Local Authority; so schools can be assured that all staff are fully qualified in their respective fields with a high emphasis Data and Child Protection.
The environment is fully monitored and a safe digital platform.
The feedback from the governors who attended the last session was excellent. The use of Pupil Premium Funds and the School Strategy need to be understood by governors.
The trainers are Anne Del Greco and Pat Wood who are both very experienced in this area and will provide a comprehensive session to enable you to understand the topic and your role.
